Hopefully, that will give our work a certain life and meaning.

Thanks for your encouragement!AnfinsenArts Alivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07361234735661011962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428587441890663773.post-54827163272119615672011-05-22T15:09:21.331-07:002011-05-22T15:09:21.331-07:00Carol, I do believe that as long as we are changin...Carol, I do believe that as long as we are changing and growing as people our art changes and grows. But we can't force it, just for the sake of change. Best to just keep on doing what you feel drawn to do - as long as you don't start 'copying yourself'. It's easy to think that because something has worked well once, you can fall back on that and keep producing more of the same. That's when an artist's work stagnates - and there's no sign of that in your work that I've seen! :)Judy Adamsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02986456665704994228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428587441890663773.post-40507130047327054902011-05-21T15:49:06.386-07:002011-05-21T15:49:06.386-07:00What would I do without you guys? I guess it's like when I have to decide that a story is done and it's time to put it out there on its naked little ownself.

As a newcomer I find your art very vibrant and joyous. The colors make it seem so alive. Or as the old saying goes, I don't know much about art, but I know what I like!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428587441890663773.post-36116963251179859422011-05-21T14:03:43.435-07:002011-05-21T14:03:43.435-07:00Certainly something for me to think about! I'm especially interested in where your Sand Cranes Dream painting goes. I like art like that a lot, seems like it will be very conceptual, almost like the middle ground between realist and abstract.

You do go work. Sometimes, you just keep doing what works, and refine/tweak instead of reinvent.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10253988017733908641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428587441890663773.post-69676221360880836552011-05-21T09:55:52.630-07:002011-05-21T09:55:52.630-07:00Good points, as always. And then, next time you'll touch the brush you'll try to find news ways to do it. Over the time, the difference will show, but you have to keep thinking about it. I think that's how great artists think :)Catarina Garciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07126038388304450729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428587441890663773.post-23657682168259242162011-05-21T06:03:37.003-07:002011-05-21T06:03:37.003-07:00Your work is far from stagnant. They perfect their style. :-)Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08824473397605172813noreply@blogger.com
